The update of UCSC's Long-Range Development Plan has been a three-year planning process that started in the fall of 2003. The first half of this process was spent producing the Draft 2005 Long-Range Development Plan and involved the campus community, local government leaders, and the general public. The second half of the process has been devoted to environmental analysis of the Draft LRDP, resulting in the release of the Final Draft 2005 LRDP and the Final Environmental Impact Report.
Both the Final Draft 2005 LRDP and Final EIR will be presented to the UC Regents for consideration on September 19-21, 2006.
