Questions on document and web access

HISTORICAL DOCUMENT (last update in 2006-07)

The documents related to the Draft 2005 Long-Range Development Plan project are available for public review. The following are avenues for accessing the documents:

Primary Means of Access

The following are the most dependable means of access:

On Campus

  • Campus Libraries (McHenry and Science & Engineering)--the Final Draft LRDP and Final EIR have been distributed to the campus libraries in order to make these documents available for free on-site public review
  • UCSC XpressIt! - Business & Creative Solutions (copy services)--to place an order to purchase a hard-copy printout or a CD copy
Copies are no longer available for sale at UCSC XpressIt!
Off Campus
  • Santa Cruz Central Library--the Final Draft LRDP and Final EIR have been distributed to the library in order to make these documents available for free on-site public review
  • Santa Cruz Fed-Ex Kinko's (see map and address)--to place an order to purchase a hard-copy printout or a CD copy
Copies are no longer available for sale at Fed-Ex Kinko's

Additional Means of Access

While CEQA documents are not required to be posted online, UC Santa Cruz is providing online access as a convenient access option for people who have the ability to access the documents through a personal computer.

These documents are provided in Portable Document Format (PDF) and are best viewed using Acrobat Reader, Version 5.0 or later. The Acrobat Reader, available for free from Adobe, allows you to view, navigate, and print PDF files across all major computing platforms.

Depending on the speed of your Internet connection (high-speed is most reliable) and the version of your web browser and PDF software (current versions are more dependable), you may be able to view, download, or print a PDF of the documents associated with the LRDP project. If you are unable to do so electronically, please access these documents by one of the means described in the Primary Access section, above.
