Action Item for the Regents
The President of the University recommended to The Regents that the Board take the following actions at its September 19-21, 2006 meeting:
- Certify the Final EIR for the UC Santa Cruz 2005 Long-Range Development Plan;
- Adopt the Mitigation Monitoring Program for the Final EIR;
- Adopt the Statement of Overriding Considerations included in the Findings;
- Adopt the Findings pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act;
- Approve the Final Draft 2005 Long-Range Development Plan (September 2006); and
- Direct the campus to report to The Regents at a regularly scheduled meeting by September 2010, and every five years thereafter, about the status of the 2005 LRDP implementation.
