LRDP/EIR Schedule
The update of UCSC's Long-Range Development Plan is a three-year process that started in the fall of 2003. The first half of the project period was spent producing the Draft 2005 Long-Range Development Plan and involved the campus community, local government leaders, and the general year. The second half of the project is devoted to doing environmental analysis of the Draft LRDP and will result in the completion of the project's Draft Environmental Impact Report. Both the Draft 2005 LRDP and Draft EIR will be presented to UC Regents for consideration in summer 2006. Until a new LRDP/EIR is approved by The Regents, campus development is guided by the current 1988 LRDP. For more detail about the project's timeline, please review the graphic, below.
