Comprehensive Settlement Agreement
What is the Comprehensive Settlement Agreement?
In an August 9, 2008 message to the campus community, UC Santa Cruz chancellor George Blumenthal announced that an historic agreement has been reached, ending litigation over UCSC's 2005 LRDP and stalling construction of a badly needed biomedical building on campus. For more information about the terms of the agreement, please see
- A summary of the settlement agreement; or
- Read the complete signed agreement.
For more information about the litigation that preceded the settlement, please see the litigation background webpage.

Each Comprehensive Settlement Agreement Annual Report will be available for review by appointment at the Office of Physical Planning and Construction (located on campus). For your convenience, the annual reports are also posted below.
